Ello folks!
I just came back from a firework display for bonfire night. For those of you who don't know, Great Britain usually celebrate Bon Fire night on Guy Fawkes Night, on the 5th November.
*Quick History lesson* Guy fawkes was a guy who tried to blow up the Houses or Parliment and Kill the King using fireworks and other bombs. Of course, he failed, and so the british people like myself, celebrate his failure by showing it in his own trick in his face each year. xD
Because Guy fawkes Night this year lands on a Wednesday of the first week back from half term (a British short holiday were you take a week break from school/college/work etc), Most of Britain are celebrating it on the closest Saturday which is today!
They decided that because the event was just a day after Halloween, they would play songs related to Halloween too, so it was a win win event ^^
I took a video of this event too *apologies If you can hear me and my mum talking lmao xD
I took some photo's of the fireworks, but they're a bit blurry so please bare with me (taking photo's of fireworks at the right moment is so hard xD)
And that's all! I had a really fun time ^_^
The fireworks usually go on for about 2 weeks? from the 27th Oct - 8th Nov until it dies down as everyone starts preparing for christmas xD
